The Fleurieu Peninsula is home to some of the best produce in Australia, if not the world, and at the Court House we source the best of the best. Our partners include small producers toiling on small farms to produce organic, heritage produce delivered directly to our kitchen. Whether it be free-roaming Berkshire pork, organic saltbush lamb, or heritage breed organic strawberries, our menu begins with the freshest of local produce.
Once in the kitchen, our team has a philosophy of letting the flavours sing. Each dish bursts with flavour and offers the delights of simple rustic approach. We cook everything from fresh (as it should be!) and take pride in offering food that we like to eat. Rustic tapas recipes are updated to highlight the wonderful produce of South Australia, creating a fusion that is uniquely Court House cuisine.
Whether its an intimate dinner for two, catching up with friends or a family celebration for 20, the Court House can perfectly cater your occasion.
The menu offers a range of dining options. For traditionalists, we have a number of small taste and share plates that are perfect starters that can be followed by one of our superb main course options. Alternatively, those who enjoy a range of flavours can share the tapas and share plates to make an enjoyable meal with great diversity.
And for those that can’t decide, our chefs will create a four course meal of dishes they reckon are the best featuring a range of tapas, share plates and main course.
Of course the main meal is only a prelude for the dessert options available. Classic sweets like rhubarb crumble and sticky date pudding vie for attention with more modern options like roast rhubarb with a vanilla creme brulee. Once the menu is presented, the dessert stomach will have to be employed!
